I’m Adam Carity, an Arizona-based photographer, husband, and father of four. By day, I work in environmental consulting, but photography has always been the space where I get to slow down, explore, and follow my curiosity. As an artist, I’m drawn to things that are easy to overlook. I’m probably best known for my abstract night street photography, where light, color, movement, and shallow depth of field can turn ordinary places into something completely different. I also photograph landscapes, approaching nature less as scenery and more as something alive, connected, and constantly communicating around us. My work is really about seeing what was already there, just differently. I don’t like being locked into one style or subject. I’d rather keep experimenting, trust my eye, and make photographs that give someone a reason to stop and look a little longer.
